Equipment

All equipment used in a park must be manufactured by reputable companies that specialise in equipment certified by UIAA and/or CE. To experience a rope course we recommend that you use a complete harness with an automatically closing buckle. We recommend guides use a low sportive harness which is lighter and more practicle for use over long periods. Only the V type lanyards are used for abseiling in our parks. We use tandom pulleys that have ball bearings; these don’t suffer from wearing and are more resistant in varying weather conditions. Lanyard hooks must be attached to the harness with a ferrule twist lock, while lanyards for abseiling need self-locking ferrules. It’s compulsory to wear helmets as they protect when falling. Helmets can be adjusted according to size.

DESCENT AND UNHOOKING

A descent can happen in different ways, with the use of ropes and descenders or with safety devices. Anyway it’s the instructor who controls the safeness for the users. For big adventure parks we recommend automatic descending systems which guarantee the descent of the user will be at a constant speed 0.8m/s. Moreover this system comes with crank that allows it to lift people if they faint.
